Hipprocrates stated ‘Let food be thy medicine and let medicine be thy food’.
Nutritional Therapy is the process of utilising ‘food as medicine’. It takes a therapeutic approach to harness the power of nutrition to address imbalances and disharmony in the body to allow it to naturally heal.A nutritional therapy plan is tailored to your bio-individual needs and unique circumstances.

Naturopathic nutritional therapy view the body as a whole, interconnected system. When one part of the body is not functioning properly, it can have an impact on the whole system.
Using a food-first approach, I treat you as a unique whole individual being, taking into consideration your health (physical, mental, emotional and spiritual), body systems and lifestyle. A dis-ease manifests when either of the four states of health are out of balance.
By addressing the root cause of your symptoms we set in motion a naturopathic nutrition plan including diet and lifestyle recommendations in your healing journey to support your body's innate ability to heal and maintain your optimum health and wellbeing.
My nutrition plan will take into consideration your unique circumstances, your food preferences, diet requirements, your time and budget constraints. This will be used to reach your health goals and depending on your needs I will recommend lifestyle changes to help you make active positive changes. Given the right environment your body will move towards healing and harmony.
My approach combines the use of nutritional therapy and functional medicine testing to get to the root cause of your symptoms. -
Most likely you have been suffering with long-term debilitating and disruptive health symptoms.
My purpose is to guide you from a place of feeling lost, dismissed and unheard by your GP and others around you to the place you envision as your optimal health and wellbeing.

We start with a free 20 minute health review session to understand your health situation, symptoms of concern and health goals to determine we are a right fit for working together.
Should we progress to an initial consultation, this involves a comprehensive case taking of your medical history, body system symptoms, diet and lifestyle. I will then share initial thoughts with you and you can ask any questions. A written plan will be sent to you within 5 business days.I may request for your GP to perform blood tests or other investigations as needed or recommend private functional testing to support your nutrition plan.
Follow-up consults will be scheduled 4-5 weeks after our initial. We will address your progress, successes and challenges and review any testing results together. Adjustments to your plan will then be made as needed.
All consultations are held online via Zoom to clients in the UK and abroad.

Root cause approach
Eliminating foods permanently because they trigger symptoms only addresses the symptoms and not the underlying cause. Nutritional therapy addresses the underlying mechanisms and drivers of your symptoms and health condition instead of only suppressing or masking your ongoing painful symptoms.
A tailored approach
To improve your on-going health symptom or condition, you may have tried following other’s advice and recommendations on nutrition because it worked for them. However, there is no ‘one-size fits all’ approach when it comes your health, because each person is different. A diet or supplement that worked for someone, may not be suitable or safe for you.
Working with a Nutritional Therapist like myself avoids the headache of figuring out what’s suitable and safe for you. You’ll recieve a plan tailored to your needs and lifestyle. I take into consideration your circumstances, diet requirements, preferences, budget and time constraints.
